This policy covers the IP Glance iPhone app and this website.

We do not collect your data

IP Glance has no accounts, no servers of its own and no analytics. We cannot see your IP, location or usage.

Its App Store privacy label is “Data Not Collected”.

Third-party data sources receive your exit IP

To tell you where an IP is and how clean it is, the app sends your public exit IP to the public services listed under “Data sources”. This is the feature itself and cannot be avoided.

Those services have their own privacy policies; IP Glance sends them nothing else.

Data sources

Each check sends your public exit IP to the public data sources below, in parallel, and cross-checks the answers. This is required for the feature itself; nothing else is sent.

ipwho.isPrimary

Provides country, city, ISP and ASN. On-screen location follows this source.

ipapi.coSecondary

Used for cross-checking. Disagreements show as “Inaccurate”. Its free quota is limited; on failure the app falls back to a single source.

ip-api.comPurity flags

Provides proxy / hosting / mobile flags, combined with ASN keywords into the risk impression. Its free tier uses plain HTTP; only the public IP is transmitted.

icanhazip.comRaw IP probe

Probes IPv4 and IPv6 exits separately; it is also the only request the widget's quick refresh makes.

Geo and purity results for the same IP are cached for 24 hours; manual refresh is limited to once every 2 seconds; every request times out after 5 seconds.

Every verdict is an estimate based on public data, for reference only.

Data stays on your device

Check results, change records and settings live in the app's own on-device storage, shared with the widget, and are never uploaded.

You can clear the change history from the Timeline page or export it as CSV at any time; uninstalling the app deletes everything.

Notifications

Change alerts are local notifications generated on your device; no push server is involved.

This website

ipglance.app sets no cookies and loads no third-party scripts, fonts or images.

The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes your IP address and browser details to deliver the pages, under its own privacy policy. We do not use this information to identify or track visitors.
